Contributor @peachandpepper was a great resource for this city launch, and we’re excited to share her story! We’ve asked her some questions we think will interest you, and we’re excited for you to get to know her better! Let’s do this!
What’s a must-have item in your suitcase?
A fun pair of comfortable shoes. I always especially love a cute, colorful sneaker that’s easy to wear and walk around in but is also stylish and fun.
How often do you travel, and how do you make it happen?
To be completely honest, I don’t travel nearly as much as I’d like. With my husband’s job and the kids in school, we can’t get away as a family as often as I wish. But I definitely have a desire to travel more! At the top of my travel wish list are: Greece, Italy and London. And within the states, Nashville is a place I’d love to visit.
What do you love most about Denver?
Am I allowed to say “everything”?! I love Denver as a whole, but I especially love the sunny weather, the people and laid-back culture and the fact that it’s a big city that feels like a smaller town to me. I like to call it a “big little city.”
What are your tips for people visiting Denver?
You need to visit Red Rocks (an amazing outdoor concert venue unlike any other)! And I also love the Denver Milk Market at the Dairy Block… it’s such a fun place to walk around with lots to see. Milk Market is actually a 16-restaurant food concept all under one roof and the decor is so unique and fun… it’s one of my very favorite places to go in Denver. Union Station is also a cool place to spend time and the RiNo area and Larimer St is full of lots of great colorful murals.

Mural: This is extra tough (I love so many!) but I especially like “Denver, You’re So Cool,” “Nothing Without Courage,” and the “Dripped Colors” mural on Larimer. (Download Depalo for directions!)
